The LM2596S-3.3 is a step-down (Buck) regulator from the SIMPLE SWITCHER® series, capable of delivering up to 3A output current with excellent line and load regulation. This regulator is designed with a fixed output voltage of 3.3V and comes in a TO-263-5 (D2PAK-5) package. Requiring a minimal number of external components, it is simple to use and includes internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator operating at 150 kHz.
