Description
The TMC2100 provides most autonomous an integrated motor driver solutions for 3D-printing, cameras, scanners and other automated equipment applications.
The device has an integrated micro-stepping indexer. TRINAMICs sophisticated StealthChop chopper ensures noiseless operation combined with efficiency and best motor torque. It also intended to drive a bipolar stepper motor. In order to save energy, theTMC2100 provides a standstill current reduction.
Protection and diagnostic features support a robust and reliable operation. The working temperature is high, with no fan case that is about 0.5A operating temperature of 70 degrees, 1A operating temperature of more than 150 degrees, there may be lost step. It is recommended to do heat, the working current is best about 0.5A.
This small and intelligent standalone driver for two-phase stepper motors offers market-leading features while being configured by seven pins only. The package includes one module and a heat sink.

Features
Compatible pinout with A4988 and DRV8825
Can drive up to 1.2A (RMS) continuously
Step / Dir interface with Micro-step interpolation (up to 256 micro steps)
Can be configured via CFG pins
Motor supply voltage: 5.5V - 45V
Logic voltage: 3.3V - 5V
Heat dissipation at the top for better cooling performances
StealthChop: Smoother motions and Quiet operation
spread cycle

Current calibration:
Irms = (Vref * 1.77A) / 2.5V
Vref = (Irms * 2.5V) / 1.77A
example: FOr 1V measured on Vref, the Motor current will be 0.71A
1V = (0,71A * 2.5V) / 1.77A
