Description
This Slide Potentiometer module incorporates a linear variable resistor with a maximum resistance of 10K. When you move the slider from one side to the other, its output voltage will range from 0 V to the VCC you apply. A potentiometer is a three terminal resistor with a sliding or rotating contact that forms an adjustable voltage divider at the slider (wiper) from a fixed input voltage applied across the two ends of the potentiometer.Â
Potentiometers are commonly used to control electrical devices such as volume controls on audio equipment. Potentiometers operated by a mechanism can be used as Audio control, television, motion control, computation and position transducers, for example in a joystick.
