GY-21 SI7021 Temperature and Humidity Sensor Module with I2C Interface
SI7021 I2C humidity and temperature sensor is a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit that integrates humidity and temperature sensor elements, and an analog-to-digital converter.
Converter, signal processing, calibration data and I2C interface. Patented industry standard, low-k polymer dielectrics are used to detect humidity, enabling low power consumption, the construction of monolithic CMOS sensor ICs, with low drift and hysteresis, and good long-term stability.
Humidity and temperature sensors are factory calibrated and calibration data is stored in on-chip non-volatile memory. This ensures that the sensors are completely interchangeable, and no recalibration or software changes are required.
SI7021 can be reflowed in a 3x3mm DFN package. It can be used as a hardware and software compatible upgrade to an existing RH/temperature sensor in the 3x3mm DFN-6 package upgrade, with a wider range and lower power consumption for accurate sensing. The optional factory-installed cover provides a low-profile, convenient method to protect the sensor (for example, reflow soldering) and the life of the entire product during assembly, excluding liquids (hydrophobic/oleophobic) and particulate matter.
In applications from HVAC/R and asset tracking to industrial and consumer platforms, SI7021 provides an accurate, low-power, factory-calibrated digital solution for measuring humidity, dew point, and temperature.
