MAX3232 DB9 RS232 To Serial TTL Converter Module is a low power consumption transceiver module convert RS3232 serial port to TTL serial, which is based on MAX3232 transceiver chip. The MAX3232 chip is composed of a dual line driver, a dual line receiver, and a dual circuit of the charge-pump with ±15-kV ESD protection of pin to pin (serial-port connection pins, including GND). It is compliant with TIA/EIA-232-F requirements to interface between an RS232 that is an asynchronous communication controller and the TTL that is a serial port connector. Four small external capacitors make a charge pump to instead of a dual power supply. It can work at data signaling rates up to 250 kbit/s and a maximum of 30-V/µs driver output slew rate.
The MAX3232 module is developed to make easy communication between the TTL serial port and RS232 ports by converting their appreciate signals.
