The WS2813a is an intelligent control LED light source that integrates the control circuit and RGB chip into a 5050 package. It features intelligent reverse-connection protection and an internal signal reshaping circuit to prevent signal distortion. Each pixel has 256 gray levels, providing a full-color display of 16,777,216 colors, with a refresh frequency reaching 2kHz. The serial cascade interface operates using a single signal line for data reception and decoding. The dual-signal wires version enables continuous transmission even if a pixel fails, ensuring that any pixel's failure won't affect signal transfer and the overall emitting effect. The data transfer protocol uses a single NZR communication mode. After the pixel power-on reset, the DIN port receives data from the controller; the first pixel collects the initial 24-bit data and sends it to the internal data latch. The other data, reshaped by the internal signal reshaping amplification circuit, is sent to the next cascade pixel through the DO port. Each pixel adopts auto-reshaping transmit technology, making the pixel cascade numbers not limited to the signal transmission, only related to the speed of signal transmission. The refresh frequency updates to 2kHz, with no flicker even when captured by an HD camera, making it very suitable for use with HD video cameras. The reset time is greater than 280μs, preventing incorrect resets during interruptions, and it supports lower frequency and inexpensive MCUs. Integrated circuit chips enable simpler, neater, and more reliable circuit control, with no extra components needed.
