Description
The light sensor is a device that converts light energy of various wavelengths from infrared or UV into electrical energy (or to an electrical signal). This is the reason they are named as photoelectric devices. They sense the light during this process and so can be called "Photo Sensors."
This CJMCU-TEMT6000 is an Ambient Light Sensor module that uses a special ambient light detector (TMET6000) with a spectral response. It closely emulates the human eye. This module helps you to detect the light density and reflect the analog voltage signal back to the Arduino controller. Light sensors have all sorts of practical uses in the modern era, most notably in devices that need auto-brightness for their screens and in digital cameras to adjust exposure. You can bring the ability to detect light levels to any project with the Ambient Light Sensor Breakout.
You can set the threshold of a voltage level to trigger another unit on the Arduino project.
