KY-013 NTC Thermistor Analog Temperature Sensor module has an NTC Thermistor and mounted on a breakout board with a 10K-ohm resistor. An NTC Thermistor is a Negative Temperature Coefficient resistor. This means that the resistance is inversely proportional to temperature. The resistance increases when temperature decreases and vice-versa.

Thermistors are temperature-sensing elements made of semiconductor material that has been sintered in order to display large changes in resistance in proportion to small changes in temperature.

KY-013 NTC Thermistor Analog Temperature Sensor measures ambient temperature based on resistance of the thermistor. The KY-013 NTC Thermistor Analog Temperature Sensor consist of a NTC thermistor and a 10 kΩ resistor. The resistance of the thermistor varies with surrounding temperature.

This resistance can be measured by using a small and measured direct current, or dc, passed through the thermistor in order to measure the voltage drop produced.

These solid state temperature sensors actually act like electrical resistors that are temperature sensitive. That is where the name, a clear combination of the words thermal and resistor, comes from.

The KY-013 NTC Thermistor Analog Temperature Sensor is based on the Thermistor works, a sense of real-time To know the temperature of the surrounding environment changes, we send the data to the Arduino analog IO, then come down as long as we go through Single programming will be able to convert the sensor output data Celsius temperature values and displayed.

The use and the general temperature sensor is the same, are three-line package, when we use the power cord connected OK signal output Into the end on the line, because the module output is an analog signal, we want to signal output terminal connected to the Arduino analog IO On sampling.
