Description
GY-801 is the updated version of the GY-80 and includes an L3G4200D, specifically a 3-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer ADXL345, a three-axis magnetometer HMC5883L, and a Bosch BMP180 pressure sensor.
It is the ideal solution for mobile applications and for all those solutions which provide for the detection of the displacement and the movement of an object. It also includes the earth's magnetic field and atmospheric pressure detection.
This module is ideal for model aircraft, drones, weather stations, and a thousand other applications.
Six 16bit ADC converters should be added (one for each axis) to use for the accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. It also needs ADC 12bit for the magnetometer to ensure the maximum precision of the conversion detected. In order to combine precision speed, each sensor can give a programmable output in different ranges that carried in the technical specifications.
The module is designed for use with a large variety of microcontrollers through the I2C bus.
Therefore, It is totally suitable to operate by Arduino and many other development kits. The module is designed for use with a large variety of microcontrollers through the I2C bus. Therefore, it is totally suitable to operate by Arduino and many other development kits.
