Description:

A switched-mode power supply is an electronic power supply that incorporates a switching regulator to convert electrical power efficiently. Like other power supplies, an SMPS transfers power from a DC or AC source (often mains power) to DC loads, such as a personal computer, while converting voltage and current characteristics. Unlike a linear power supply, the pass transistor of a switching-mode supply continually switches between low-dissipation, full-on and full-off states, and spends very little time in the high dissipation transitions, which minimizes wasted energy. A hypothetical ideal switched-mode power supply dissipates no power.
This power supply is an isolated industrial-grade module power supply that provides temperature protection, overcurrent protection, and short-circuit protection features. With high and low voltage isolation, AC85 ~ 265V wide voltage input, and AC and DC dual-use. It includes 431 precision regulated DC5V output, ultra-small size, high reliability, and high performance.

Input Characteristics:

  • Input Voltage Range: 85 ~ 240V AC
  • Input Current: 0.0273 (110V AC) ~ 0.014 (220V AC)
  • Input Surge Current: 20A

Output Regulation Characteristics:

  • Output Voltage Range: 3.1 ~ 3.5V
  • Output Current Range: 0A ~ 600 mA
  • Peak Current: 700 mA
  • Output Power: 2.5w maximum 3W
  • Output Efficiency: 85%
  • Output Ripple: 150mV
  • Switch Overshoot: 10%
  • Output Rise Time: 100ms
