It works with SD cards in FAT16 or FAT32 format and includes an interface card. A 3.3V level shifting circuit is included to help prevent damage to the SD card. The onboard controller uses a 3.3V voltage reference for reliable SD card operation. Sample code, a library, RTC support, and SD support are included to help you get started quickly.
This Arduino Data Logging Recorder Shield also provides a soldering area for circuit or sensor connections. It supports time holding through the real time clock even when there is no connection for Arduino. Battery backup is supported for many years.
