Interfacing TB6612FNG Dual Motor Driver with Arduino
Description
The TB6612FNG motor driver module is capable of launching two DC motors in a constant current of 1.2A (peak current 3.2A). Two input signals (IN1 and IN2) can be used to control the engine in one of four modes: CW, CCW, short-brake and stop. The output of the two motors of this module (A and B) can be controlled individually. Each engine speed is controlled by a PWM input signal with a frequency up to 100KHz. The STBY pin must be in High mode to exit the standby mode. The logical power supply voltage (VCC) can be in the range of 2.7 to 5 volts, and the motor supply voltage (VM) is limited to a maximum voltage of 15 volts. The output current of this module is 1.2A per channel (or 3.2A for a short pulse signal). This module is fully compatible with Arduino wins.
Features
Supply Voltage: VM = 15V MAX and VCC = 2.7-5.5V
Output Current: Moderate 1.2A and peak current 3.2A
CW / CCW / short brake / stop control with standby control for motor
with internal thermal shutdown circuit and low voltage measurement
