How to use of RDM6300 125KHz RFID Reader Module with Built-In Antenna

Interface Function

  1. UART Output (TX Pin): Outputs data in UART mode as 10 ASCII codes + 1 space. The card number format is 10 data. Baud rate is 9600.

  2. IO Direct Output (J2 Pin): Indicates successful card swiping with high level during data output, and low level when idle.

  3. Triode Open Drain Output (J1 and J2 Pins): Open drain output for subsequent upgrades such as driving relays. The fill current should not exceed 100mA.

Connecting the Module

  • Connect VCC to a 3.3-5V power supply.

  • Connect GND to ground.

  • Use TX for UART data output.

  • Use J2 for direct IO output indication.

  • J1 for open drain output, if needed for driving external loads.
