MCP23017-E/SS 16-Channel I/O Expansion Module - I2C Interface

MCP23017-E/SS 16-Channel I/O Expansion Module with I2C interface provides 16-channel IO extension for electronics and robotics projects. It is built in the MCP23017 chip of MicroChip and supports flexible IO configuration. Each IO can be set as input or output, with pull-up resistor support and interrupt enable for input-configured IO. The IO interface has strong driving capacity, and the current can reach 25mA. This high-speed IIC module supports 100KHz, 400KHz, and 1.7MHz operation. Three address pins allow 8 different addresses, and up to 8 modules can be connected through two IIC buses to achieve up to 128 IO extensions.
