The DHT11 sensor, a digital humidity and temperature sensor, is fully calibrated with a single-wire serial communication protocol and a digital output signal. This sensor consists of resistance components for humidity sensor and an NTC for temperature measurement, which are connected to an eight-bit microcontroller. The applications of this sensor are in HVAC, dehumidifiers, equipment humidity measurement, household applications and medical equipment, humidity modulators and all kinds of temperature and humidity controllers.
The advantages of this sensor are its small dimensions, reasonable price, low energy consumption, digital output signal, the ability to quickly send the output signal to distances of more than twenty meters with accurate values and no need for sensor calibration.
