CJMCU MAX9814 Microphone Amplifier Module is an electret microphone amplifier module with automatic gain control (AGC). It is designed for audio pickup in situations where sound levels change unpredictably. The module comes with a 20Hz to 20KHz electret microphone soldered on. Its output level is about 2Vpp on a 1.25V DC bias. It supports configurable gain and attack/release settings for flexible audio handling.
This MAX9814 microphone amplifier module is suitable for recording or sound detection where manual gain adjustment is not desired. The built-in AGC helps reduce clipping from loud nearby sounds while boosting quieter sounds. It also includes a low-noise 2V microphone bias and a low-power shutdown mode.

How to Use CJMCU MAX9814 Microphone Amplifier Module
- Connect the module to a 2.7V to 5.5V supply.
- Use the amplified output with a suitable analog or digital converter.
- If connecting to a line input, place a 1uF to 100uF blocking capacitor in series.
