Description
This is a shrinkable plastic tube that can be used to insulate wires, providing abrasion resistance and environmental protection for stranded and solid wire conductors, connections, joints, and terminals in electrical work.
It is a solid alternative to taping, molding or potting. When heated, it conforms to the size and shape of the substrate beneath, enabling quick and easy installation. Its high expansion ratio makes it possible to repair the most damaged cable jackets without removing connectors. Heat-shrink tubing is ordinarily made of polyolefin.
